In 2003 with the support of the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing (DoHA) and the Health Television Network (HTN) the Aged Care Channel (ACC) was established to enable staff and residents of residential care homes across Australia to access accredited education and training programs and support the care of Australia’s ageing population.
In 2012 with the support of a Community Care Advisory Committee and Home Care Founding Members, ACC will release the Home Care Channel pilot program. Home Care Founding Members are involved in the decision making process about program content, production scheduling and learning resource development. ACC has extensive experience working with people in the business of care.
